The Role

Milk Education is working with secondary schools in Liverpool to recruit a qualified Teaching Assistant to support students both in the classroom and through our educational resources and online learning platforms.

This role is ideal for a passionate Teaching Assistant who is committed to inclusive education and supporting students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support teaching and learning across secondary school subjects

2. Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

3. Assist students with additional needs, including SEN where required

4. Support the use of digital and online learning resources

5. Promote a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

6. Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Essential Requirements

7. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

8. GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)

9. Experience working with secondary school pupils

10. A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

11. Passion for supporting young people’s education and wellbeing

Desirable

12. Experience supporting SEN students

13. Confidence using online or digital learning tools

14. Strong communication and teamwork skills
