Job Summary
It's great to know you're making a difference to the future of aviation Whatever part you play you'll be helping us deliver operational excellence to our customers.
Based at our Filton manufacturing plant you'll do just that. Reporting to the Commercial Account Manager the Commerical Officer will be a key stakeholder in supporting the commercial teams integrated into the Airbus civil aircraft programmes. You will responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with the customer and to provide administrative and reporting support to the Commerical Account Manager.
This role may have some travel requirements traveling to other GKN sites and client business sites.
How You'll Contribute
There are several key business functions you will be involved in:
* Contract management
* Relationship management
* Order book, demand, and sales management
* Change management
* Bid and proposal management.
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* Proven experience in customer relationship management, contract management, and demand forecasting
* Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to analyze and interpret financial data related to P&L and budgeting
* Familiarity with commercial proposal writing and business modeling.
Desirable
* Qualification in business studies or contract law would be preferable.
