The role forms part of the wider Clinical Outcomes and Effectiveness (CO&E). Team The COE Team is a centralised corporate team that supports and facilitates quality improvements through various workstreams including Health Inequalities, Getting it Right First Time (GIRFT), NICE Guidance, Clinical Audit, National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcomes and Deaths (NEPOD) and Learning From Deaths.
Option for the role to be based at Worthing hospital or the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Main duties of the job
To carry out day-to-day operation of the administration for the GIRFT & Health Inequalities Portfolio, including managing trackers, responding to enquiries, production and dissemination of information, administering meetings, and maintaining resources of the COE portfolio.

Essential criteria
1. Evidence of a good general education. Demonstrates good numerical and English comprehension skills including GCSE or equivalent in English and Math
2. NVQ level 4 or equivalent level of experience

4. Excellent organisational skills to manage own workload and assist team to operate service.
5. Ability to take notes and transcribe minutes to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and minimal amendments.
6. Accurate keyboard / word-processing skills
7. Knowledge of information governance and data protection requirements and best practices.
8. Experience in planning and delivering work with minimum oversight.
9. Experience in working an office in a complex work environment.
10. Proficient in developing productive working relationships with a wide range of professional and managerial staff in an organisation.
