Job Responsibility:
Our Entertainments Operations Administrator will form the spine of the Entertainments Department. Responsible for owning all Entertainments Admin related processes and acting as the operational buffer of the Entertainments Department. Role includes but is not limited to: Stock control, digital processes ownership, paperwork control + logging, collating data + feedback, and conducting procedural training for the front-line team.
* Manage + maintain the admin compliance standards of the Entertainments Department.
* Support with the recruitment journey of Entertainments Department new starters from offering roles to the rehearsal stage.
* Work closely with Entertainments Team Leaders to ensure any relevant conduct actions for their team are being flagged to be completed.
* Work closely with other colleagues within the Department and across the Park to make a positive impact in everything you do.
* To keep on top of any outstanding admin-related actions that are required such as paperwork control, stock-checks, training delivery and being a contingency for sickness where necessary.
* Proactively collate operational data to provide foundation for the continuous improvement of the Entertainments Department's operational processes + offerings.
* Induct new starters into the department, providing any relevant training.
* Confidently deliver training sessions under the guidance of Entertainments Management.
* To manage several admin processes in a structured and organised way, whilst maintaining a clear and organised workspace.
* Complete additional roles and jobs as per the direction of Entertainments & Park-Wide Management as required by the business.
* Always adhere to Health and Safety standards, especially when training team members.
* To live and breathe the Entertainments Department ethos and be a positive advocate for Thorpe Park and the business.
Qualifications & Experience:
An ideal candidate would be able to:
* A strong background in admin.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and adept computer literacy.
* An understanding of theme park entertainment operations.
* Have confidence to train team members and communicate with them effectively.
* Have general operational awareness/experience.
* Have a strong work ethic and promote positivity.
* Be enthusiastic and embody the collaborative ethos of the Entertainments Department.
* Be a keen problem solver with a high attention to detail and a drive to make the most out of every day.

Pay Range: GBP £11.72/Hr.
