At Labcorp in Harrogate, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Operational Support Technician to join our expanding team.

Job responsibilities include:
* Breakdown and cleaning of animal/laboratory equipment.
* Operation of industrial cleaning equipment including rack, bottle, and pressure washers.
* Cleaning of facility corridors, procedure, and empty animal rooms. Ensuring enclosures are cleaned in accordance with clear instructions and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
* Ensuring equipment is safe for use, checking, and raising repair requests.
* Logistic tasking with receipt, storage, issue, and disposal of all items entering a busy facility.
* Operation of mechanical handling equipment.
* Responsible for maintaining regulatory waste streams.
* Accurate recording of data to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards both IT and written documentation.

Education/Qualifications
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience
* The ability to learn and be flexible as well as the capability to develop the requisite skills required.
* Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-turnover industrial cleaning role.
* Previous experience of working in a logistics field is beneficial.
* Basic IT skills with focus on MS Office 365.
* RTITB Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.
