If you’ve worked in HR operations before, you’ll know it’s about more than keeping things organised, it’s about making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so employees have a consistent, positive experience. We’re looking for an HR Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role suits someone who is confident managing a wide range of activities, comfortable working at pace, and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail. Whilst HR experience is beneficial, what matters most is your approach. We’re looking for a resilient team player who collaborates openly to find the best way forward. A positive, reflective mindset is key, along with the determination to see tasks through from start to finish. You’ll act as deputy to the HR Operations Team Leader, becoming a trusted ‘go-to’ person. You’ll work closely together on HR operations projects, so reliability, perseverance, and an approachable manner are essential. This is a hands-on role at the centre of our HR function. You’ll support HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, while helping us improve how we work, whether that’s refining systems, updating policies, or simplifying processes for managers and employees. The role is primarily based onsite in Gaydon, working Monday to Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–13:00. We do offer a hybrid model, which can be discussed at interview. You’ll be working with people, processes, and systems every day, so being organised, proactive, and approachable will set you up for success. What you’ll be doing: Managing and updating HR content, policies, and communications to ensure clarity and accuracy Supporting HR systems and identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working Coordinating onboarding, from pre-employment checks through to induction and settling in new starters Managing employee lifecycle administration (starters, changes, leavers) with a strong focus on data accuracy Responding to employee queries via inbox and ticketing systems with clear, helpful guidance Supporting HR projects, system updates, and process improvements Assisting the wider HR team with day-to-day activities and stepping in to keep things on track when needed What we’re looking for: Experience in an HR operations or HR administration role Good understanding of HR systems and the employee lifecycle Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities Clear and professional communication skills A team player who can also work independently A proactive mindset, someone who looks to improve processes, not just follow them Experience with onboarding, HR projects, or policy updates would be beneficial, but not essential. A full driving licence is required, along with a willingness to travel occasionally to other sites. This role would suit someone who enjoys being relied on, values variety in their day, and takes pride in doing things well. If you’re looking for a solid HR operations role where you can build on your experience and make a meaningful contribution, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now.
