Protocol Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants for long-term placements in Merton starting September 2025.
Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils with a range of SEN (including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH)
Supporting the class teacher with classroom routines and behaviour management
Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop essential life skills
Working closely with SENCOs and outside agencies to deliver tailored support
Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Experience supporting students with SEN in a school or care setting
A patient, calm, and empathetic nature
Strong communication and teamworking skills
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
