Working with a SEND school based in Liverpool, supporting children with SEMH needs, this job is full time as School Finance Administrator with office management responsibilities.
Your new role
Working Monday – Friday, – during term time, you will lead a team of 2 as well as taking on responsibility for finance admin. The school uses Arbor as their MIS.
Day to day duties will include:
1. Managing information in Arbor
2. Ensuringpliance with finance regulations and controls
3. Drafting budgets and providing forecasts/ financial information as required
4. Check accounting procedures
5. Reconcile monthly card transactions and payroll reports
6. Banking cheques
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this post you will need a background in handling finance and payroll data, ideally in a school setting. You will befortable working independently with finance regulations and offer advice on where processes can/ need to be changed. You will have experience managing a team, and working in a busy office environment. You will have excellentmunication skills and be professional when dealing with visitors to the school as well as internal staff.
