Our team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, exercise physiologists, social workers and psychologists provide clinic-based services in our expansive and beautiful Ashford site as well as on the road in our client’s homes and communities. About the Role:
* This role is suitable for an experienced or early career Social Worker, who has a special interest in working with people with brain injury, stroke, concussion or neurological conditions.
* The hours are negotiable, and workdays are flexible. Ideally, we are looking for 0.4 to 0.6FTE
* Remuneration will reflect the level of experience.

About you:
We are seeking a Social Worker who is extremely passionate about neurological rehab.
* You have knowledge of best practice in managing clients with an acquired brain injury, stroke and/or neurological condition
* You have a friendly, results-focused disposition and can work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary allied health team
* You display genuine empathy, compassion, patience and an interest in your clients’ needs
* You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. This is extremely important to us
* You have integrity; you are trustworthy and honest
* You love working in a fast-paced environment. We are a busy clinic and the role will require you to be comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritising.
* You are resourceful – if you don’t have the answer, you go out and find it
* You have a positive, can-do attitude and a great sense of humour. You bring energy to the room and love to have fun at work
* Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent)
* Current National Police Check
* Current Working with Children Check
* Membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
* Professional Indemnity Insurance
* A current and unrestricted Driver’s License
