Role Details:
Reporting to the Mine Production Superintendent at St Ives, you will be responsible for working within a group to implement and maintain Goldfields Innovation & Technology pipeline projects.

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
* Routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant and carry out preventive measures and condition reporting
* Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the communications networks. Experience using Spectrum Analyzer and OTDR necessary
* Design, repair, and Installation of Operational Technology and Systems onboard Surface Mining Equipment., Wenco fleet management, 2way Radio and collision awareness systems
* Design, repair, and installation ofcommunications equipment on Trailers, including: 4G LTE, MW network links, Fibre Optics, Structured Cabling
* Programming Motorola Digital Radios
* Commissioning of new communication technology introduced to the site
* Recording all relevant information into goldfields CMMS- AMT/SAP as required
* Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
About you:
* Previous experience in radio communications, telemetry networks and maintenance in surface and underground mining environment
* Open cabling ticket with fibre endorsement, structured cabling and coaxial is desirable
* Tertiary qualification in IT, Communications and or Instrumentation is desirable
* WA “A” Class Electrical Workers License – Highly Desirable
* Current manual C Class Driver’s License
