The Role
At Real Life Options, we provide person-centred support to enable individuals to live the life they choose. Support is tailored to each person, ensuring they have choice and control over their support planning and delivery. You will support individuals to reach their potential by providing physical and emotional support, encouraging positive relationships, and helping them achieve their goals.
You will work alongside an experienced and friendly team in a role that allows you to make a real difference. We are looking for committed and caring individuals with excellent communication skills.
The shifts include day shifts and sleepovers. You will provide direct support to an elderly gentleman who enjoys being active in the community, social activities such as dining out, swimming, and visiting family.
The role involves preparing and administering medication, cooking meals, attending healthcare appointments, shopping, personal care, and assisting with finance management and domestic tasks.
Previous experience in support work is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. A full UK driving licence is also beneficial but not mandatory.
An enhanced Adult PVG check is required for this role.
