Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality practical teaching and learning across a range of Full-Time, Part-Time, and Apprenticeship programmes in the Engineering workshop.
* Utilise strong subject expertise in hand skills, lathework, milling, health and safety, and workshop procedures, together with recent relevant industry experience, to equip learners with the practical machining skills needed for success in a range of Engineering sectors.
* Work flexibly, creatively and proactively alongside the team to ensure curriculum delivery is outstanding and students receive a high-quality experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong practical experience and subject knowledge in Mechanical Engineering machining.
* Recent relevant industry experience.
* Commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Capability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
Compensation
Salary between £32,916 and £42,280 per annum, plus market pay supplement if applicable, for 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum. Starting salary will depend on qualifications, skills and experience.
