This is a highly varied governance role supporting statutoryand regulatory compliance, key corporate reporting, and wider shareholder‑relatedactivities across the group. You will assist in maintaining high standards inareas such as reporting, share schemes, and crisis management while workingclosely with senior stakeholders. Overall, the position plays an important partin upholding strong governance, transparency, and organisational resilience.
Your new role
Support strong corporate governance by ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, including adherence to company law and governance codes.
Contribute to major governance deliverables such as the Annual Report, AGM, stock exchange announcements, and upkeep of governance disclosures.
Manage key governance processes including share dealing compliance, share scheme administration, shareholder registers, whistleblowing investigations, and overseas subsidiary governance.
Plays an important role in organisational risk and resilience through crisis management support.
Works closely with senior stakeholders and external providers to maintain high standards across governance, reporting, insurance, and shareholder-related activities.
What you'll need to succeed
CGI Qualification
Strong understanding of the Companies Act and UK Corporate Governance Code.
A driven, can-do attitude with an eagerness learn and take on new responsibilities.
Strong communication skills and a detailed-oriented approach.
