* To contribute to providing a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
* To maintain clear and up to date records
* To undertake the tasks identified either through the work schedules or by further instruction from senior staff, bearing in mind the above principles
* To complete your duties using the appropriate cleaning materials and equipment, as trained
* Ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment is stored according to COSSH guidelines and regulations
* To take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of everyone who may be affected by acts of omission
* To work in a manner that prevents the spread of infection or disease, bearing in mind the relevant guidance and regulations
* To use, clean, store and transport, and maintain any equipment or materials appropriately and safely
* To work in accordance with each cleaning set of instructions/procedure, i.e. bathrooms, toilets, bedrooms, communal areas, etc.
* To ensure that there is a proper supply of toilet rolls, bags, and wipes, etc. in all areas
* To report any concerns or accidents to the Management or other senior staff in their absence
