A growing Private Client team in Swindon is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to support its continued expansion, particularly at the higher end of the market. The team has built a strong reputation for complex tax planning and estate work, and is now at the point where it needs another experienced lawyer who can operate with a high degree of autonomy while also contributing to the wider growth of the practice.
The work itself is broad but consistently high quality. Youll be advising on wills, probate and trusts, alongside more sophisticated estate planning matters. Youll have your own clients, while also supporting on larger, more complex relationships where required.
What stands out here is the expectation beyond the day-to-day legal work. Youll be involved in shaping the direction of the team contributing to business planning, developing your own referral network, and playing an active role in business development. Theres a genuine opportunity to build a profile as a recognised name in the local market.
Internally, youll be part of a collaborative environment where senior lawyers are visible and accessible. Youll be expected to support and supervise junior team members, but equally youll have the backing of an established structure and a clear framework for progression.
Theyre looking for:
* A qualified solicitor with 7+ years PQE
* Strong experience across the full spectrum of Private Client work, including wills, probate and trusts
* Confidence managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
* Proven ability, or clear appetite, to engage in business development and build client relationships
* A commercially aware approach, with the ability to deliver high levels of client service
