Residential Child Care Worker – Pebbles Care
Join us as a part‑time Residential Child Care Worker at Pebbles Care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to partner with an established team and influence the lives of young people in a caring, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will be employed part‑time, averaging 28.2 hours per week. Working collaboratively with your team, you will provide support tailored to the young person's needs, either one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one. During induction you will learn about our therapeutic care model and receive ongoing support from our Psychology, Education and Senior Management teams. You will be based within one home full‑time, but may occasionally support other homes in the same area.

* A starting salary of £17,359.55 to £17,741.83 per annum, pro‑rata, based on experience.
* Part‑time roles operate on a rota pattern of one day on and two days off, averaging 10 monthly shifts.

* Proficient IT skills and experience in using Microsoft packages.
Desirable Qualities
* Up to 12 months experience working with children or young adults (more experience may influence salary grade).
* Working towards or desire to obtain SCQF Level 7 or Level 3 Diploma relevant to Children and Young People's Residential workforce (funding may be available).
* Familiarity with the Codes of Practice set out by regulatory bodies.
* Existing PVG/DBS certificate.
