We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist, supporting both Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU) and Isle of Wight NHS Trust (IWT).Working closely with a range of staff across the organisation and beyond, you will play a significant role the delivery of high quality, value driven procurement across two NHS organisations.
Main duties of the job
The role will require the successful candidate to deliver Procurement exercises and projects across a variety of categories while providing a highly professional service. Excellent analytical and numerical skills are essential as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
This is an extremely busy and interesting department to work in. You will meet a different challenge every day and you will be an integral part of the team providing a first class procurement service.

The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites.
