Responsibilities
* Use industry experience and expertise to contextualise learning and develop students’ understanding of electrical engineering and power networks.
* Devise appropriate assessments and strategies and feedback to students through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
* Collaborate with staff in the development of excellent learning materials and programmes of study utilising a range of methods and media.
What we are looking for
* Experience in relevant vocational industry setting/academic background.
* Demonstrated ability to motivate students through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies.
* Possession of a degree in the relevant engineering subject area (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related area).
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Passion for teaching and ability to motivate learners.
* Respect for the college’s aims and values.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Engineering (Higher Education) to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College.
We are looking for an individual to teach Electrical / Electronic and Control based modules across the department to part-time, full-time and Higher Apprenticeship HE students.
