About the Role
A dynamic secondary school in Bradford is looking for a talented and committed Science Teacher to join their thriving Science Department in September 2025. This full-time role will involve delivering inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at KS5 depending on experience. The science faculty is well-resourced, collaborative, and passionate about igniting scientific inquiry.

Essential Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum in Science.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

* Excellent subject knowledge in biology, chemistry, and/or physics
* Ability to differentiate lessons for mixed-ability classes
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Effective communication with students, parents, and staff
* Data-driven decision making
* Reflective teaching practice
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3-KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
* Plan and prepare schemes of work, lessons, and homework
* Mark and assess student work against departmental and national standards
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners
* Create a safe, positive learning environment
* Collaborate with other staff in the science department and across the school
* Encourage scientific literacy and curiosity
* Ensure practical activities are conducted safely and effectively
* Keep up to date with scientific developments and integrate them into teaching
* Liaise with technicians and ensure resources are used efficiently
