Who You Are You are an experienced Electrical Inspector with over 5 years of experience or in a similar role, holding City & Guilds (Level 3) or equivalent qualifications, along with the IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition. You possess a sound knowledge of Electrical Installations, particularly in Domestic and Residential Buildings. You are computer literate, proficient in writing reports, and adept at using MS Office Packages. You have experience within the electrical contracting or consultancy sectors, demonstrating expertise relevant to the electrical social housing domain. What the Job Involves As an Electrical Inspector, you will survey and inspect low and high-rise buildings, write condition and feasibility reports, and record the progress of electrical works. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, residents, and stakeholders, attending project progress meetings and ensuring compliance with specifications, regulatory standards, and health & safety guidelines. The role requires quality and standards checking, snagging, and overseeing the handover process. It involves working with a team of building services professionals and provides opportunities for hybrid and flexible working.
