Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join our legal team within a boutique firm. This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate is expected to work full-time hours.
Job Duties:
Assist in the preparation of legal documents related to property transactions
Conduct research on property titles and land registry
Communicate with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders involved in the conveyancing process
Handle administrative tasks to support the conveyancing team
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and procedures
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a conveyancing role
Knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Education:
A relevant legal qualification or equivalent experience
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a conveyancing role
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx)
Experience using case management software
