Overview: Element has an opportunity for a Stack Emissions Team Leader to join its growing team in Wednesbury (Birmingham). This role will be responsible for leading our lead stack emissions testing campaigns and overseeing all parts of the on-site testing.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Lead on-site sampling and monitoring activities
2. Ensure all testing is completed as per method standards and requirements
3. Ensure the highest level of quality is maintained throughout each testing campaign
4. Travel to client sites
5. Conduct site inductions and write POW risk assessments
6. Oversee all health and safety considerations on site and during testing campaigns
7. Operate sampling and test equipment to measure emission levels
8. Collate site information related to monitoring and process activities
9. Communicate with customer contacts and regulators
10. Adhere to company and client health and safety protocols
11. Prepare, repair, calibrate, and maintain test equipment
12. Maintain stocks of consumable items
13. Handle shipments of samples to analysis laboratories
14. Maintain records in accordance with our accredited QMS
15. Possess MCERTS Level 2 Team Leader qualification
16. Interest in environmental monitoring and industrial processes
17. Experience in a similar role is advantageous; full training will be provided
18. Hold a full driving license due to extensive travel, including overnight stays
19. Be a good team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
20. Be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, in physically strenuous situations, and handling scientific equipment manually
21. Pay attention to detail and aim to provide excellent customer service
