Time Appointments are working alongside a global Claims Management Company based in Glasgow who are currently seeking to appoint a dedicated Claims Team Leader to lead and motivate a busy team of Property Claims Handlers. Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Minimum to three years’ experience leading and motivating a successful team of property claims handlers
* Extensive experience handling property claims from cradle-to-grave
* An aptitude for people management with the ability to motivate and drive performance on a consistent basis
* The ability to resolve complex customer challenges, issues and complaints, and a strong understanding of customer service processes
* Proven influencing and decision-making capabilities
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Proactively leading and motivating a team of claims handlers to achieve team objectives
* Managing own small case of claims
* Overseeing and monitoring the lifecycle of the desk-based teams claims, and dealing with technical referrals from the team
* Leading and developing team members to reach their potential, ensuing targets and personal goals are achieved
* Planning and conducting 1-2-1 meetings and appraisals
* Holiday and absence management
* Identifying training needs within the team and implementing any necessary training
* Continually improve employee satisfaction
