Base pay range
Referment is working with a leading hedge fund who have recently opened a role in their Infrastructure team. This will be a broad role covering 2nd and 3rd line support across their server, network and security estate. The successful infrastructure consultant should have experience across both Windows and Linux as well as experience supporting Cisco switches, VPN's and firewalls. Extensive experience working in the capital markets industry is also required to be considered for this role.
Key Requirements
* 5 years + experience working in infrastructure support within capital markets
* Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux platforms
* In depth knowledge of network support and Cisco technologies
* Experience implementing and supporting Infrastructure security controls, including patching, endpoint and identity/access management
* Scripting experience with Powershell, Bash or similar
This is a chance to join a top hedge fund where you will work with some of the best engineers in the industry. The role will mainly be focused on support, but there will be a chance to get involved in projects and engineering too.
This is an initial 6 month contract, inside of IR35
