We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
* Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients and ensuring all necessary items are readily available.
* Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
* Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized throughout the day.
* Help with bussing tables and serving during events or busy service periods.
* Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist in banquet setups and breakdowns as needed.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
* Familiarity with food handling and safety practices.
* Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
