Due to the planned retirement of our existing Breast Imaging Manager in July 2025, we are looking to recruit a new service leader.
The North Cumbria Breast Imaging Service provides a full screening and symptomatic service to the population of North Cumbria. The unit liaises with Consultant Breast Surgeons, Pathologists, and Surgical Outpatients to provide a comprehensive one-stop breast service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for managing and coordinating the high-quality delivery of the NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) and will act as the lead for the symptomatic diagnostic breast imaging service within the designated area, liaising with breast radiologists and surgical colleagues.
The post holder will work within the standards of conduct, performance, and ethics as defined by the Health and Care Professions Council.

* Standard Check: £27.40 (£21.50 + £5.90 admin)
* Enhanced Check: £55.40 (£49.50 + £5.90 admin)
Cost increases are effective from December 2024.
