Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough diagnostics on equipment using schematics and technical manuals
* Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery, including mechanical and electrical components
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly and repair tasks
* Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify faults accurately
* Carry out heavy lifting as required to move or install equipment safely
* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
* Assist with equipment assembly, installation, and calibration processes
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and solutions effectively
* Maintain detailed records of diagnostic procedures, repairs, and parts used
* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
* Proven experience with schematics, mechanical knowledge, and equipment repair
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
* Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and diagrams accurately
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in demanding environments
* Good customer service skills with clear communication abilities
* Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
