Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a timely and efficient manner. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness and organisation behind the bar area.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning glasses, utensils, and equipment
- Adhere to all food safety and beverage handling procedures to ensure the safety of guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, menu items, and promotions to provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling cash transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality industry standards is a plus
