The Role
* As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be working on the book of existing clients provided, bedding in the relationship, and getting used to the way the business works and supports.
* You will look for ways to grow the book, either from existing clients, referrals or self-generated new leads.
* You will be expected to put in the hard yards to develop the prospect network across the local area, developing a strong prospect bank to work from.
* You will be working with clients that pay a fee/commission income of circa £2,500 and above.
* Work with fellow Account Executives and the local Handling team to ensure you follow through with the best proposition for the prospect.
* As an experienced Commercial Account Executive in the insurance market, you will earn a strong starting salary – commensurate with your experience and perceived value.
* Bonus earned on growth of the portfolio.
* Flexible working, commensurate with client needs.
What We Are Looking for
* An individual with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Account Executive - in managing an existing book - OR a pure New Business Producer who might wish to inherit a book to grow.
* Sound technical experience, capable of holding court with commercial to mid-market sized clients about their insurance programmes.
* It goes without saying, but you must have the hunger, desire and confidence to succeed.
