This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, clear communication, and technical detail, and who is interested in how complex machinery is supported through high‑quality technical documentation. You will gain hands‑on experience in a professional engineering environment while working towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification.
What does the Business Administration Apprenticeship involve day to day?

•Supporting the preparation, formatting, and updating of technical manuals for construction and agricultural equipment
•Assisting technical authors with document control, version management, and content updates
•Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards
•Managing document workflows, approvals, and release records
•Maintaining structured records within document management systems
•Liaising with engineers, product specialists, and other internal teams to gather information
•Supporting general administrative tasks within the Technical Publications department
You'll be supported throughout your apprenticeship with structured training, mentoring, and on the job learning.
What we’re looking for:
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Good attention to detail and accuracy
•Organised, methodical, and able to follow processes
•Comfortable using IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and document tools
•Willingness to learn and take on feedback
Training and Development
•You will complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship alongside your role
•Structured off the job training with an approved training provider
•Ongoing support from experienced Technical Authors and team leaders
•Opportunity to develop specialist skills in technical documentation, engineering support, and publishing systems
