As a Clinical Lead at HC One, kindness will guide everything you do. It’s at the heart of our Nursing home. Everyone here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and your role gives you the chance to make a real difference in their lives. Defoe Court is a Nursing and residential care home. You will be responsible for our twenty bedded nursing community. You’ll ensure our clinical care not only meets professional and legal standards but also goes above and beyond them. This includes providing expert nursing support, taking charge when the Home Manager is away, and coaching your team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You must be a Registered Nurse with a valid PIN and committed to the professional standards set by the NMC. You’ll enjoy mentoring others, supporting students, and leading by example with clear communication and professionalism. You’ll promote person-centred care, ensuring residents and their families feel valued and supported. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, so you’ll be able to recognise and act on signs of abuse, harm, or neglect. You’ll complete the required safeguarding training, know how to report concerns, and escalate issues when needed. .
