Our client, a mixed, day special school based across two sites in Totnes (West Yarner) and Newton Abbot (Seale Hayne Business Centre), is looking for a dedicated Education Support Worker to join their growing team. The school provides education for up to 40 pupils aged 7–16, offering small group and individualised learning tailored to each pupil’s EHCP and unique needs. This role will primarily be based at the Seale Hayne site with the expectation to work across both school sites and support pupils on outreach, so access to your own vehicle is essential. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualised support and supervision for pupils aged 7–16 Deliver parts of learning or intervention programmes under guidance Support students 1:1 and in small groups to meet their academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions both on and off site Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children and young people Strong interest in supporting learners with SEN Commitment to positive behaviour management and student wellbeing Good general education, including GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Why Join Our Client’s School?
