Overview
Our Academy of Sport, Health and Public Services covers sport, Public Services, Personal Training and Adventure Sports with multiple facilities across our campus to ensure our learners are industry focused and career ready.
The College has significantly invested in the Academy, with a £6million investment in our new fitness studio, gym, international standard 4G pitch and sports performance centre. In addition, we also have strong links with a wide range of sporting and public sector organisations, such as England Amputee Football Association, RAF, AoC Sport and National Outdoor Training Centres.
About the role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Programme Administrator to join our Academy of Sport, Health and Public Services. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes that support staff, students, and external partners. You will act as the key point of contact for communication, record management, and coordination of key processes that underpin an outstanding learner experience.
Key responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for student and parent queries, ensuring accurate logging and tracking on college systems.
Provide efficient administrative support to the Curriculum Area Manager, including agendas, minutes, purchase orders, and invoices.
Maintain accurate student records in collaboration with Registry and MIS teams.
Support the organisation of events such as graduation, open evenings, and study tours.
Assist with work experience placements and employer engagement records.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and college safeguarding policies.
The successful candidate will:
Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent).
Be educated to Level 3 or have significant experience in an administrative role.
Demonstrate strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and database systems.
Be self-motivated, highly organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
