Cyber Security Analyst
Hybrid (2 days per week in office) – Midlands
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join a growing team.
This is a key role focused on strengthening and evolving cyber security capabilities across a complex digital environment. You’ll play a central part in protecting systems, data, and users by supporting security operations, responding to threats, and enhancing detection and monitoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
* Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber security threats across the organisation
* Investigate security incidents and support or lead response activities
* Work with tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, and other security technologies
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of security monitoring and threat detection
* Support vulnerability management and security assurance processes
* Provide clear, actionable insights to reduce risk and improve security posture
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective security controls
* Support proactive security initiatives, including identifying weaknesses and validating controls
About You
* Experience working in a cyber security or IT security role
* Strong understanding of security operations and threat detection
* Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g. SIEM, EDR/XDR)
* Ability to analyse and interpret security events and incidents
* A proactive mindset with a strong interest in learning new technologies
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
