Body Prep Technician
Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Body Prep Technician on an ongoing contract for our prestigious client in the engineering/Fabrications industry in the ST10 area (Temp to perm for the right candidate). This would be ideal for someone that has worked in Manufacturing / Engineering and wants a role in which they can learn and develop.
Start date: ASAP
Location: Stoke on Trent (ST10)
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:30 & Some Friday's 06:00-11:00
Pay Rate: £13.28per hour, overtime paid at £16.22per hour after 37 hours.
Duties Include (but not limited to):
Prepping parts for painting
Filling in dents
Smoothing out surfaces
Inspecting parts pre - paint to ensure a smooth finish
Assisting Paint sprayers where required
General Maintenance of yard/ unit where required
Liaising with management team on faults / issues during early stages to ensure customer satisfaction
What we are looking for:
Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, but experience in a manufacturing / engineering role also considered
If you have a Forklift license this would be advantageous but not essential
Experience using hand tools
A great attention to detail
Willing to learn
Great attitude towards work, taking pride in the results of your hard work
Reliable and flexible
