As Process Improvement Manager (12 month fixed term contract) you will be working as part of the Finance Shared Services (FSS) department, you'll be managing a portfolio of change projects to deliver enhanced business processes, system changes and ways of working. Developing a business-wide network to stay abreast of process challenges and propose effective improvements. Providing day to day support to the Process Improvement Senior Manager and Shared Services Director with ad-hoc analysis tasks.

Job Description
Your role as a Process Improvement Manager...
8. Working across teams within the FSS to identify potential improvements in systems / processes and then deliver these changes in partnership with internal/external stakeholders
9. Creating business cases with relevant FSS managers where system changes require budget sign off
10. Liaising with wider business teams to discuss FSS service levels and opportunities in ways of working
11. Working closing with IT team to deliver system changes
12. Preparing testing and implementation plans for new systems and processes
13. Preparing communication plans for larger project roll outs
14. Developing training material and providing training / support during roll out of new initiatives
15. Troubleshooting day to day problems with systems / Automated Tasks / Processes to support the staff in FSS
16. Automation of manual tasks and processes within finance
17. Working with the Ops Excellence team to support changes in Pubs
18. Working with the FSS Dartboard team to identify opportunities for improvements

Technical/Professional Expertise Required:
27. Demonstrable experience of identifying and implementing process improvements, saving significant time and cost
28. Advanced user of Excel and Cognos BI tools
29. Confident user of VBA and able to troubleshoot code issues
30. Strong working knowledge of at least one major ERP or integrated accounting package. Knowledge of Aurora would be a distinct advantage.
31. Accounting/finance experience. Qualified/part qualified accountant is desirable.
32. Experience of testing and implementing new software and changes to software
33. Ability to use automation tools such as Power Query, Power Automate, Python etc would be a distinct advantage.
