A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking experienced Sub Agents and Site Agents to join a major infrastructure project on the A9 in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term roadworks scheme involving the upgrade of 8.2km of carriageway to dual carriageway standard.

Role Overview
The successful candidates will support the delivery of a major highways project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Applicants must have strong experience across:
- Earthworks
- Drainage
- Structures
Candidates with previous highways, roadworks or major infrastructure experience will be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Liaising with engineers, commercial teams, and project management
- Overseeing quality assurance and technical compliance
- Supporting project reporting and progress tracking
- Driving efficient and safe project delivery
Essential
- SMSTS and CSCS certifications required
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple workstreams
Location
Perthshire / A9 Corridor
Local candidates are preferred, but accommodation can be provided for candidates travelling from outside the area.
This role can be either freelance or permanent, so rates or salaries are negotiable depending on experience. Start date also negotiable but there is an option for an immediate start. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8-5.
