About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced WAC Area Manager to lead our Wraparound Care programmes across multiple sites. If you're a confident leader with a background in childcare or education, and you thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment—this could be your next big move.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff Support & Supervision: Mentor and support WAC staff to ensure high performance and team morale.
* Occupancy Management: Drive enrolment and resource efficiency across sites.
* Communication: Build strong relationships with schools, parents, and site teams.
* Policy & Compliance: Ensure consistent service delivery aligned with organisational standards.
* Ofsted Preparation: Lead inspection readiness and support site leads during visits.
* School Liaison: Manage school partnerships and coordinate programme integration.
* Staff Development & Onboarding: Deliver training and support career growth.
* CPD & Training: Promote continuous learning through in-house sessions.
* Team Deployment: Oversee scheduling and strategic staff placement.
What We're Looking For
* Proven leadership experience in childcare, education, or similar operational roles
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on approach

Working hours
* This role is advertised as term time only but we would be open to discussions of an all year round employment, based on the candidates experience.
* Monday - Friday. 1pm - 6pm with flexibility and additional hours available.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £17,440.00-£20,928.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
