We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Workshop Controller to join our Livingston Dealership. This fast-paced role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. The role is crucial in supporting the Service Manager to ensure the profitable, efficient, and effective operation of the Livingston Service Department, resulting in the highest quality of work and customer service.
Responsibilities
1. Distribute and control the issue of work to Technicians to maximise quality and efficiency.
2. Support the achievement of budget performance by maximising hours sold, driving revenue per transaction, ensuring adherence to the VHC process, and promoting product sales.
3. Regularly review upcoming workloads, ensure timely and accurate completion of work, and manage customer expectations.
4. Assist management in implementing effective processes to achieve high CVP levels, exceeding the manufacturer’s national average.
5. Report and seek advice on issues encountered during work to overcome problems and keep customers informed of delays.
6. Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and welfare standards for colleagues and customers.
7. Familiarise with Ford Motor Company Bulletins related to technical and warranty procedures.
8. Handle customer complaints as required.

Hours
Your hours will be on a rota basis, covering the Service Department hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, including Saturdays on a rota basis.
