Due to ongoing expansion and increased demand, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional and friendly environment with a skilled team of 9 productive staff including Panel Beaters, Paint Sprayers, Vehicle Mechanics, and Stripper Fitters. Up to £40,000 basic salary depending on experience Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4.30pm Optional Saturday overtime at standard rate Morning and lunch breaks included (15 mins 30 mins) Specialist tools and diagnostic equipment (Snap-on) provided Work on a variety of vehicles – cars, commercial vans specialist vehicles Authorised repairer for leading insurance companies Stable, family-run company with a positive and professional culture Facilities on Site: 6-Bay Bodyshop Low-Bake Oven Jigs Single Post Ramps Full Range of Diagnostic and Specialist Tools Vehicle Technician Duties: Gearbox and gearbox mount repairs Timing belt and chain replacements Brake and clutch repairs Handbrake cable replacements Mechanical fault diagnostics (using tools and hands-on inspection) Working on both insurance and retail vehicles, including commercial and motorhomes What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Confident working independently on a wide range of mechanical issues Ability to diagnose faults without sole reliance on diagnostics tools Experience with timing belts/chains, clutches, gearboxes, etc. Team player who takes pride in their work Full UK Driving Licence If you're a capable and experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a growing accident repair centre with strong values, great facilities and a specialist edge, then apply today!
