Trainee Project Planner
Location: Bristol and Glasgow
The ideal candidate will have active SC Clearance or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.
The Experis Academy offers an exciting opportunity for delivery-oriented individuals to be trained and upskilled as Project Planners in the clean energy, defence, and civil decommissioning sectors. We seek ambitious candidates with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. If you're looking to reskill or develop in project planning, this role offers a challenging but rewarding experience requiring excellent customer-facing and team skills.
You will support Project Planning activities within a delivery environment and collaborate with like-minded professionals to solve complex problems in the nuclear and infrastructure sectors.
Training will include project, programme, and portfolio management (P3M), project management, planning, controls, Primavera, and Excel, along with soft skills like negotiation, presentation, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution through scenario-based workshops.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Implementing and maintaining project structures
* Developing and maintaining the integrated project schedule
* Ensuring alignment between scheduling and financial/material demand tools
* Providing regular status updates and analysis of schedule impacts
* Creating resource/cost loaded schedules for financial and project status reporting
