Are you an Art and Design Teacher who loves helping students find their creative voice?
We’re working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Tower Hamlets looking for a passionate Art and Design Teacher to join their creative department. The school values the arts, encourages individuality, and supports teachers with clear routines and a collaborative team culture.
The role includes:
1. Teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available if you’re keen
2. Delivering engaging lessons across areas such as drawing, painting, mixed media, and contextual studies
3. Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and encouraging creative confidence
4. Contributing to displays, projects, and the wider creative life of the school
5. Maintaining positive behaviour and clear classroom expectations
The school is looking for someone who:
6. Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)
7. Has experience teaching Art and Design in a UK secondary school
8. Can balance creativity with strong classroom structure
9. Brings enthusiasm, organisation, and a calm, supportive presence
10. Enjoys being part of a diverse and welcoming school community
