Role Overview:
As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where young learners can develop key skills and thrive. Your teaching will lay the foundations for future learning through structured play, exploration, and positive relationships.
Responsibilities as an EYFS Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Framework.
* Support children’s emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development.
* Create a warm, secure classroom where all children feel valued and confident to explore.
* Monitor pupil progress through observations, record-keeping, and assessment.
* Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
* Promote a culture of kindness, independence, and early curiosity.
Requirements for the EYFS Teacher role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Experience teaching in an EYFS setting in a UK school.
* A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
* Creative teaching strategies that cater to different learning needs.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
