About The Role
We're looking for a commercially focused
Finance Manager
to join our team at our Gillingham Surgical Centre in Kent. In this key leadership role, you'll provide financial insight and direction to support operational performance, strategic decision-making and service development across the unit.
Working closely with the Hospital Director and Senior Management Team, you'll be the go-to finance expert on site, helping translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. This is a hands-on role with real impact, offering the opportunity to influence performance, drive improvements and support new business initiatives.

What you'll be doing
As Our Finance Manager, You'll
* Providing financial leadership to the surgical centre and acting as a key member of the Senior Management Team.
* Producing accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and insightful commentary.
* Leading forecasting and annual budgeting processes in collaboration with operational teams and central finance.
* Monitoring performance against contracts and identifying risks and opportunities.
* Supporting new business opportunities through financial appraisals and modelling.
* Ensuring compliance with financial controls, policies and processes across the unit.
* Managing and developing direct reports, including clinical coders.
* Acting as a trusted finance partner to operational teams on a day-to-day basis.
What we'll look for in you
With your recent experience in a similar finance leadership or operational finance role, you will also have:
* Strong analytical, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
* Experience working in cross-functional or matrix organisations.
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly.
* Line management experience with a track record of developing teams.
* Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
* A proactive, commercially minded approach with a genuine desire to make a difference.
