We have staged many successful musical in recent years and have a strong and talented Performing Arts choir with over 25 students that meet every week. Within the Performing Arts Department we believe that education is not just about academic achievement, but about nurturing character, resilience, confidence and a strong sense of self-worth.

The successful candidate will become part of a dedicated Performing Arts Department that excels in delivering a creative and enriching Performing Arts education, ensuring that every student can develop their talent and confidence in all aspects of music. There is an opportunity to teach a unit on the Eduqas Level1/Level 2 Performing Arts Technical Award for the right candidate.

We are looking for a colleague who has:

* A proven track record of high-quality teaching and positive impact on learner outcomes.
* Evidence of teaching KS3 and KS4.
* Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and how young people learn.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Effective communication and oracy skills for a range of audiences.
