Your Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
* Promote interdisciplinary learning as outlined in the Welsh curriculum’s Humanities AoLE
* Encourage critical thinking about historical events, ethical issues, environments, cultures, and societies
* Use pre-set lesson plans and adapt your approach to meet the needs of all learners
* Uphold school policies and maintain a purposeful learning environment
What You’ll Need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Humanities (History, Geography, RE or similar subjects) in a UK secondary school
* An understanding of the Curriculum for Wales, particularly the Humanities AoLE framework
* A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* EWC registration (or willingness to register)
* Strong communication, behaviour management, and classroom leadership skills
* A passion for helping learners become ethically informed, knowledgeable citizens of Wales and the world
