Robert Half are partnered with a family run organisation in West Lothian to appoint a Finance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Fully office based.
Role
This is a well-rounded Finance Assistant role. Duties include;
* Accounts Payable
* Accounts Receivable
* Banking and Reconciliations
* Monitor Cash-flow
* Petty Cash
* Assist with Monthly Management Accounts - journals, accruals and prepayments
* Support the submission of VAT Returns and Payroll reporting
* Maintain the fixed asset register
* Assist with year-end
Profile
* Previous experience in a similar Finance Assistant role - ideally 1-2 years minimum
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Strong communication kills
* Strong IT skills - Sage experience is beneficial
* Drivers license and access to a car or ability to get to Broxburn
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary of £28,000-£32,000
