Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Macclesfield who are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start part-time in September. This is a great role for an individual considering a career in education, or an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a flexible role.
About the role:
* Part-time role starting in September
* Opportunity to earn £90-£95 per day
* Based near the centre of Macclesfield with great transport links between Congleton and South Manchester/Stockport
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be based in KS2, working mostly with Years 5/6. You will work closely with the class teacher to identify learning gaps and create and implement intervention when necessary. This will include 1-1 and small group intervention with core subjects and preparation for the Year 6 SATS. Additionally, you will provide regular progress updates to both the class teacher and parents/carers when necessary.

* Teaching Assistant qualification/equivalent experience is essential for this role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students
* Good knowledge of behaviour management techniques
* Ability to create a calm and positive learning environment
