Learning Support Assistant - SEN Secondary School
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants to join our supportive SEN secondary school in St Helens. This is a full-time, permanent position, starting as soon as possible, where you'll play a vital role in helping young people with additional needs to thrive.
About the Role
1. Support secondary-aged students with a range of special educational needs, both in class and on a 1:1 basis.
2. Assist teachers in delivering engaging, tailored lessons and activities.
3. Encourage and guide pupils with their learning, behaviour and personal development.
4. Help create a safe, positive and inclusive school environment for all learners.
About You

5. Experienced in supporting young people, ideally within an SEN or school setting (but not essential).
6. Patient, resilient and compassionate, with a genuine desire to make a difference.
7. Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
