Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £37k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned Water Treatment outfit, who have a stronghold in the South East of England. They are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer, with a diverse skillset and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have a flexible nature and will be able to adapt to changing client requirements. Due to the nature of the contracts, our client is able to be open-minded about an engineer’s skill-level, as they are able to offer comprehensive training, however, a good level of time-served within the industry is neccessary. Salaries are excellent and benefits include: overtime, company vehicle and pension scheme.

Experience / Qualifications:
* Will have experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer
* Conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Strong communication skills
* Comfortable liaising with clients directly
* Flexible to travel where required
* Excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
* Cleans and disinfections on CWST and cooling towers
* Sampling and analysis of closed systems
* Using a test kit on site to conduct testing and analysis on cooling towers and steam boilers
* Showerhead descales
* Acid descales
* Flushing of little used outlets
* Chlorinations
* Calorifier inspections
* Producing regular service reports
